Dr.
Clare Morris was born and raised
on the east coast of Canada
(Nova Scotia), and graduated from the Atlantic Veterinary College
in 1990. Since then, she has been practicing veterinary medicine in British
Columbia and Washington, where her area of practice included horses, cows,
llamas, dogs, cats, and even some zoo animals.
In 1994-1995 she pursued a residency program at the University of Georgia
in theriogenology (the study of reproduction and fertility in animals).
After
moving to Seattle in 1997 and starting a family, her focus narrowed to
dogs and cats. Dr. Morris completed veterinary acupuncture in 1997, and
uses both traditional western medicine and alternative therapies in treating
animals.

Receptionist,
Lisa Dassinger
Lisa
is a life-long Washintonian. She has specialized
in Customer Service for over 13 years. She
also has several years as a vet assistant.
Lisa
enjoys the outdoors and is very interested in hiking, camping, and traveling.
Lisa
is also very gifted in floral design. Lisa
presently lives with three kitties of various ages.

Office Manager, Ruth
Ruth grew up with a variety of pets and livestock in California. She received
her BA at Willamette University in Oregon where she met her husband. After
visiting Texas for 5 years, her family settled in Washington.
Ruth
enjoys many outdoor activities the northwest has to offer; loves boating
and travel. When she's not in the office, she's sailing, boating, or spending
time with the family and her two dogs, Emma (lab-dane) and Collin (Irish
Wolfhound).
Ruth
worked as a Veterinary Assistant for 6 years and previously owned her
own business. She presently enjoys the opportunities of managing a busy
office.

Dr. Kira Faulkner
grew up in Wisconsin around a variety of animals. Her first experience
in Seattle was as an undergraduate at the University of Washington. After
obtaining her doctorate at the University of Wisconsin Veterinary College,
Dr. Faulkner returned to Seattle to practice at All Care Pet Hospital
in Mukilteo and has recently joined URBANVET.
She currently
resides in Seattle with her 3 beautiful cats and 2 rambunctious dogs.
She loves the
Northwest, enjoys traveling, and recently returned from a trip to Mexico.

Vet
Assistant, Rick McCollum
Rick has studied and worked as
a Veterinary Assistant for 6 years. He
especially enjoys working with cats.
Outside
of animal care, Rick enjoys reading, music, and watching movies with his
cat, Munchie.
 
Vet
Assistant, Malari Fraser
Malari is a Veterinary Assistant. She has been working in the Seattle
area for 7 years. She is currently studying to take the National Veterinary
Technician boards this summer. Malari is also returning to school this
year to finish her Associate degree.
She has two feline hairballs, Igby and Eddie, and one very sweet old-lady
Pitbull mix named Tanner.
When she is not engrossed in the animal world, Malari likes learning about
other aspects of the science world, like Cultural Anthropology, Biology,
Theology, Philosophy, and the study of ancient civilizations. She is also
a performing artist.
She currently resides in Seattle with her partner Sean.
